1. Disadvantages of Existing Lead Battery
- There are 6 units and it is 31kg per unit. The total weight is 186kg
- Connect 6 lead batteries in buoys floating on the sea in a bad work environment.
- Although it needs equal recharging due to self-discharging and daily recharging and discharging of the storage battery, it is unable to recharge.
- The life of the battery is shortened due to not being able to perform equal recharging.
2. Advantages of using Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery (PowerStack)
- There is 1 unit and its weight is 20kg.
- Convenient maintenance because only 1 battery have to be connected to a buoy floating on the sea with a bad working environment.
- There no need for equal recharging because the battery performs cell balancing on its own.
- Capable of checking the defects of the battery from the land close to a ship or buoy due to the built-in wireless antenna
